Studwelders Composite Floor Decks Ltd installed 4,145m² of MetFloor 80 steel decking, and FibreDeck concrete at the new Premier Inn in Portsmouth. The £8.8M, 120-bed hotel has an iconic curved design and is situated very close to the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Portsmouth Harbour railway station.

Studwelders Composite Floor Decks installed approximately 100m2 of MetFloor 60 decking to the new Sands of Speed Museum in Pendine, Carmarthenshire, where numerous land speed records have been broken.

During the refurbishment of the historic Bodmin Jail in Cornwall, Studwelders Composite Floor Decks supplied and fitted over 250m2 of MetFloor 55 steel decking to the brand-new ‘Dark Walk’ attraction.

Studwelders Composite Floor Decks Ltd have installed over 6000 square metres of MetFloor 55 and almost 11,000 square metres of MetFloor 60 steel decking to Phase 2 of the New Era Square development in Sheffield.

Studwelders Composite Floor Decks was entrusted with the installation of approximately 28,000 square metres of MetFloor 55 steel decking to 6 Central Square, Cardiff. During the installation, Studwelders also welded thousands of steel shear studs and fitted steel edge trim and safety netting to the structure.

Studwelders Composite Floor Decks were chosen to deliver and fit over 9000 square metres of traditional MetFloor 55 steel decking to Romo Group’s new headquarters near Mansfield. Romo Group is a Nottinghamshire-based luxury fabrics designer and manufacturer, and their new 33,000 square metre HQ will consolidate their business operations onto a single site.

Studwelders Composite Floor Decks won the contract to supply over 5000m2 of MetFloor 60 steel decking to the Engineering North building on Swansea University’s Bay Campus.
