Netting Division
Studwelders Composite Floor Decks Ltd.'s Health and Safety Policy recognises the need to constantly develop its methods of working to minimise and remove risk and in turn are active memebers of FASET. One of the key company policies is that all staff will be protected by safety netting.
To ensure that its teams and customers receive this protection Studwelders Composite Floor Decks Ltd. has formed its own in-house safety netting division.
Design of safety netting systems, the erection and removal of safety netting in accordance with BS 1263 Parts 1 & 2.
All SCFD operatives are trained in safety net rescue.
Studwelders Composite Floor Decks' Safety Net division has erection teams operating nationally, each team of two men being complete with its own vehicle, tools and safety nets.
Trained operatives including certification, can be combined with the supply of equipment.
The option of supply and installation of bean/air bags in instances where safety netting is not practicable.
Air Bags & Bean Bags Fall Protection
In some instances, the use of Safety netting is not always practical especially when working around concrete structures due to the limited fixing locations for safety netting. In these instances, other fall arrest protection systems need to be employed these predominantly are Air Bags or Bean Bags the benefits of these are itemised below:
Very easy and quick to install in a variety of limited spaces.
Easy to inflate and deflate without any other power source required.
Eliminating the use of ladders to install, installed from ground level.
